More development and integration reqs are opening up in my department, so I
thought I would forward this one more time.
External reqs open for a SW position in Intel’s UMG divison. Linux
positions that target building smart phones based on IA architecture. Our
team’s deliverables include device drivers (so you will be working with the
open-source community) and ‘middleware’, basically hardcore C privileged
applications handling system functions on the platform. Linux targets
include Intel-Nokia’s Meego OS and maybe Google’s Android OS.
Mandatory requirements:
-familiarity with Linux, in particular .rpm based distros
-C programming experience, including good programming practices
Nice-to-have-but-not-necessary requirements:
-SPI protocol knowledge (candidate’s first task will be delivering a
solution involving the SPI protocol)
This is a US-based req. Our team is located in Hillsboro, OR, 15 miles
outside of Portland. Preference is relocation to our team’s location.
