Job Description:
In this position, the individual will be an individual contributor with responsibilities in design, development and deployment of supply planning related solutions. Drive and implement initiatives for supply chain planning tool and business process innovations. Maintains a high level of knowledge in technology, systems and industry trends. The individual is expected to be also contributor on the ongoing technical implementation of supply chain planning solutions. Understands business problems and proposes effective technical solutions as required. Translates functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and leads to implement them. Closely works with technical team members to accomplish set objectives and deliverable deadlines. Works effectively with cross functional teams in order to implement effective supply chain management solutions. Designs process and technical solutions to effectively and efficiently manage and support worldwide supply chain planning activities.

This position requires at least a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Industrial Engineering or in a related area with 3 to 5 years of experience. The position is part of the support team that provides 24/7 on call support for supply chain planning solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose environment/ application/ database and supply chain management related planning problems. Ability to work closely with other IT and business teams to identify and resolve production problems. Researches and analyzes production problems/outages and provide root cause analysis to upper management. Ability to prioritize and manage several open support requests at one time in order to meet Service Level Agreements. Ability to escalate and follow up on problems. Must be able to develop and architect solutions that solve supply chain planning related business and system problems and generate maximum value. Must have good team relationship qualities, good communication skills with
various levels of the organization, and core competencies in systems infrastructure, systems development, supply chain planning tools and best practices. Understanding of i2 Supply Chain Planner, i2 Demand manager and Master Data Management solutions is desired. Experience in supply chain related data models, production plan quality analysis are desired. Knowledge on technical and system architecture concepts, supply chain management related integration; experience in Unix Scripting, Oracle Db, SQL and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools is desired. Must be a self-motivated individual, and have ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines. Must have good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
