Position Summary:
Sr. Product Manager focused on integrated product solutions - HW/SW/Firmware for the defense community.
Reports to the VP Level.

Position Responsibilities:
*Detail, verify and maintain the product area roadmap, including the introduction of new products within a two-year window of opportunity.
*Responsible for the pricing strategy of the product(s) and regular maintenance of the price list entries.
*Responsible for the complete definition of the market’s requirements for each new product including: cost targets, time to market, hardware, software, firmware, mezzanine standards, user documentation, proof of design documentation, collateral material, sales training material, photography, obsolescence management and variant strategy.

*Provide regular quantitative and subjective market feedback on the product area(s) of responsibility.

*Partner with product marketing team to develop and maintain all the sales tools necessary for the success of the product(s) in the marketplace.

*Coordinate third-party collaborative product development,marketing and business capture activities as appropriate.

*Act as the focal point for external enquiries from customers, field sales and Manufacturer
*Partner with Account Management in support of field sales activities as needed.
*Partner with the Contracts group and lead proposal generation process.
*Provide product forecast information including end-of-life planning

Required Skills and Competencies:

*5-7 + yrs of Product Management with a proven track record in defining and launching integrated products.

*May have worked for firms like GE Fanuc, Curtis Wright, or others, similar in nature.
*3-5 years experience in embedded computing environments, ideally defense related.
*Experience with VME and other defense based standards. Experience with I/O products and embedded system development.
*BS in engineering, computer science; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to build strong partnering relationships with customers, outsourced partners and internal staff, peers, and engineering teams.
*Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional teamwork among Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing.
* Strong technical skills with an ability to quickly assimilate new ideas and concepts.
*Effective written, verbal, presentation and communication skills.
