Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and close solar photovoltaic power purchase agreements (PPAs) with large clients across the United States in one or more of the following sectors, meeting and exceeding an annual sales performance plan
- Commercial / industrial
- Real Estate / REIT
- Higher Education
- Government
- Develop and implement segment sales strategy(ies) and business plan, coordinating closely with the Director of Commercial Project Development and other members of the Development team
- Coordinate needed resources internally and externally t- support development efforts
- Work t- influence format, structure and content of retail power RFPs, where high probability of success exists
- Work with key internal partners:
- Structured Finance team, t- create and implement financing solutions for specific market segments
- Marketing and Development teams, t- craft and refine client-facing sales tool and collateral
- Project Operations and Information Technology, t- ensure smooth implementation of projects developed
- Build a network of key partnerships and suppliers t- deliver project solutions
- Track all opportunities on an ongoing basis using Recurrent Energy’s CRM tool
- Represent Recurrent Energy at industry events and speaking engagements as needed

Qualifications:
- Successful track record of identifying, developing and closing complex asset development projects and beating annual performance quotas
- Proven track record of qualifying potential opportunities, identifying key buying behaviors, and exceeding client expectations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; MS office and superior presentation skills
- Ability t- summarize complex issues and opportunities, and present t- clients for purchasing decisions, and t- internal management for risk review and signoff
- Strong attention t- detail and relentless desire t- implement and improve processes

Education and Experience:
- 4 year degree required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Deep knowledge of the PPA finance and legal structures
- Prior proven success at an Independent Power Producer (IPP) or solar project developer preferred
