Position: Sr. Web Developer
Location: Sunnyvale. CA
Start Date: Immediate

Details:
As a portal developer, you will be responsible for working with an Open Source CMS, extending it and customizing it to follow specific styling and functional requirements for its developer portal. The position will include interacting with internal and external web services, MySQL database, HTML, JS and CSS. You will need to integrate the portal with external partners as well as with internal systems.

We have an immediate need for a Sr. WEB DEVELOPER with our client in SUNNYVALE, CA.  This is a CONTRACT POSITION for 6-8 weeks.

Required experience:
- At least 6 years of PHP and MySQL (LAMP) hands on development experience

- Working knowledge/Hands-on with SQL schema design and implementation

- Hands on experience with using XML web services

- Experience with building large, 7/24 web sites, with at least one full product life-cycle

- Experience with build complex HTML and CSS content and with template engines

- Hands on with an open source CMS (Joomal or Drupal), including:

– Installing
– Customizing and configuring
– Integrating with existing extensions
– Modifying existing extension and building new ones
