Position Responsibilities - Summary:
- Candidate is responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing the configuration management environment to enable parallel software development by multiple programs within a product line.

- Candidate will maintain the product-line configuration management plan and assist the programs in developing program-specific SW CM plans and presentations

- Be the CM Administrator for the product line common integration streams, verify and advertise baselines

- Assist in deliveries of program-developed common assets streams into common integration streams

- Manage a small team of junior SW CM engineers for the administration of SW CM functions for individual programs within the product line

- Oversee and/or develop tools to assist in CM functions such as automated baseline audits and metrics collection

- Act as liaison to IBM Rational for ClearCase UCM support

- Oversee the program-specific CM activities to ensure they are being conducted with best practices.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in software configuration management and be experienced with administrative functions using Clearcase in a Windows environment and experience in Clearcase/Unified Change Management is Required.

- Ideal candidate will have experience in SEI CMMI processes and practices and development

- Experience in Secure Communication, Command & Control Systems, and the Defense or Aerospace industries required.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to work in team environment.

- Must have current and active DOD Secret Level Security Clearance or have had it within the last 2 years so it can be reactivated.

- BS in CSE/CS/CE
