Position: .NET/HPC engineer

Company:
Grid Dynamics is looking for a high impact .NET/HPC engineer. We are looking
for a engineer or architect with a broad set of technologies, either in the

HPC space or a combination of HPC and .NET.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement grid applications and systems (Proof of
Concept, architectural reviews, implementation oversight and support,
integration of enterprise wide grid technology, etc.), in close
collaboration with the customer engineering teams, technology partners and
internal remote engineering team.

- Lead client engagements and support pre-sale activities

- Perform other engineering and technology management activities as required
by projects and customers

- Blog about your relevant expertise and experiences, present at conferences
and provide thought leadership within the company and on client engagements

Requirements:
- Strong academic background in mathematics, physics or computer science.
Ph.D. preferred.

- HPC/ .NET technologies required, Java preferred

- Product expertise: MS Windows Compute Cluster Server required; knowledge
of Sun Grid Engine, Condor, DataSynapse and/or Platform LSF/Symphony
preferred

- Knowledge of high-performance computing, parallel processing, scale-out
computing, or grid computing strongly preferred

- Background in financial applications/Wall Street a big plus

- Minimum of 5 years of experience required

- Excellent communication skills and client facing skills required

- Passion for technology and innovation. Strong desire to push the envelope,
find commercial applications of big ideas, to create breakthrough solutions
to the world’ biggest technological challenges

- Comfort in working with globally distributed teams

- Strong engineering discipline and implacable work ethics

- Ability to travel up to 25%
