Position Summary:

My client is seeking an experienced SOA Solution Architect for a significant role in the professional services of the company’s next generation enterprise finance management software. The position will focus on web services orchestration of revenue treatments for Fortune 1000 clients, using C#, and various web services orchestration systems such as BPEL and rule engine in a Services Oriented Architecture environment.
This is an especially exciting opportunity to join a pre-IPO company that has proven its ability to field state of the art enterprise software products in the corporate finance management area.

Position Responsibilities – Detailed:

· Lead in the management and development of technical implementations of enterprise revenue management software, including web services orchestration, development of custom object oriented code in Java and C#, .NET based rules development, integration with ERP systems, and data migration.
· Work with Business Analysts to perform requirements analysis, provide validation of the solution functional documents, and develop the technical designs.
· Work with third-party consulting partners in a team leadership role in delivering customer solutions.
· Communicate effectively with the customers and partners.

Qualifications:

· At least eight years experience in software development required, with strong experience in enterprise business application server technical services or development.
· Strong knowledge of object oriented programming and tiered applications in a J2EE or .Net environment
· Strong knowledge of web services, XML, XPath and XSLT, SOAP and WSDL based development
· Proven experience communicating with customers and other functional stakeholders regarding complex application issues.
· Experience with major ERP applications such as Oracle and SAP preferred
· Financial application background (knowledge of billing, general ledger, account receivables, etc.) highly desired.
· Ability & desire to work in a commercial server software development process environment; knowledge of test driven development highly desired
· Experience with web services orchestration engine such as Oracle BPEL highly desired.
· Good understanding of WS-Security, WS-Addressing, WS Reliable Messaging preferred
- Knowledge of services oriented and message oriented architecture highly desired.
· Solid experience with business rules engines such as InRule or highly desired.
· Experience with application server such as Oracle AS 10g, WebLogic, WebSphere desired.
· Strong experience in data modeling and database development.
· Excellent communication (oral & written) and organizational skills proven in dealing with major stakeholders regarding complex application requirements.
· Some degree of travel (20%).
· BS in Computer Science, MIS or related major highly desired
