Solution Designer

As Solution Designer, you will be responsible for the strategy and design for ITOps Configuration Management Database and Capacity Planning. You’ll need an understanding of business trends within specified segment of Configuration Management / Capacity Planning Tools and Solution . You’ll participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives as well as forecast the long range implication of those plans and objectives, and is able to develop short term tactics for their successful implementation.

Essentials:
- Work with the various organizations within ITOps to gather business requirements and design technical solutions.

- Prepare proposals that include the cost and impact of any solution for ITOps.

- Provide inputs to and communicate strategy and vision.

- Inspire the organizational entity to ascribe to that vision.

- Interface with senior engineers and organizational leaders to pull together business requirements and solve business problems

- Make decisions and influence Senior management regarding issues that cross multiple organizations.

- Ensure solutions designed positively impact the ITOps Organizational KPI’s

Requirements:
- BS. 8 years of relevant professional experience.

- Understands business trends within specified segment of Configuration Management/Capacity Planning Tools and Solution.

- Has ability to participate in establishing strategic plans and objectives.

- Also has the ability to forecast the long range implication of those plans and objectives, and is able to develop short-term tactics for their successful implementation. Solaris, Linux and Windows Operating Systems configuration.

- Experience with and knowledge of performance analysis and capacity planning a plus.
