Senior Software Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

LRN Corporation, is hiring Software Engineers to join our team building suite of web based, data driven business applications(legal compliance/Sarbanes Oxley domain).

This is new development work utilizing exciting technologies including Spring, Hibernate, Tapestry, Java,Resin, JUnit, Log4j, Ant, and Oracle. LRN Corp, is profitable and growing,with a high profile roster of Fortune 500 clients (ie Viacom, Dow,Pfizer, Computer Associates). The Engineering offices are located in San Francisco.

Job Functions:
-Responsible for the design, development, integration, testing and deployment of LRN’s applications modules

-Takes ownership and responsibility for new technology research, concept specification and design of individual software components.

-Participates in product level tasks including product specification,
system design, development and system integration.

Requirqments:
-Minimum of 4 years experience in designing and developing web based data driven Java enterprise applications is required

-Minimum of 6 years experience in full software development life cycle is required

-Experience with designing/ developing enterprise applications at one of the larger product companies is highly desirable

-In depth knowledge of open source software and initiatives is desired

-Must have sense of urgency and sufficient energy and enthusiasm for significant challenges
