Description

Stratus Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior QA Manager to oversee a team of quality assurance engineers responsible for system level testing Stratus’ fault tolerant products & solutions offering.

You will oversee the development, maintenance and execution of test plans and automated test scripts; provide input to development on test schedules, design for testability and level of product quality; and present test findings and relevant release rea diness recommendations to senior management.

You will act an an agent of change, focused on instituting best of breed QA processes, automation, test methodologies & metrics. You will provide guidance, support and mentoring to assigned staff members.
Experience

The ideal candidate will have 8 yrs in QA and/or software development coupled with at least 3-5 years of managerial experience leading groups doing system level verification of operating system code (Linux, Windows) and has expertise in various automati on technologies including but not limited to Perl, Expect, Silk & various scripting/programming languages.

Strong communication skills & demonstrated ability to manage a team of professionals in a fast-paced, deadline environment essential. BS/Comp Science plus 8+ yrs experience in SW development & or QA. 3-5 yrs management experience req uired.
