Senior Linux/Unix Software Engineer

A well-funded Silicon Valley start-up is looking for a Senior Linux/Unix Software Engineer to join a team that is developing device drivers for high-speed Ethernet network server adapters

Responsibilities will include writing device drivers and kernel modules for current and next generations of networking adapters.

Requirements:
-Hands-on experience with networking driver architecture and development for Linux or Unix (AIX, Solaris) platforms is required.

-Experience with the server Ethernet cards is desirab le.

-Good knowledge of kernel structures and memory management is desirable.

-Experience with performance optimizations for high-speed I/O is desirable.

-Experience with tools like network sniffers and bus logic analyzers is desira ble.
