Senior Java Engineer

Job Description:
We have been retained by our client to search for a Senior Java Engineer. The person needs to have strong understanding of Java, J2EE and OO concepts. Strong knowledge of multi-threading and concepts of Java memory space, deadlocks and memory leaks is r
equired.

The candidate must be passionate about programming and doing hands on development. The ideal candidate will have experience with Capital Markets (Fixed Income securities in particular). This is a permanent position is based out of downtown San Francisco.

Candidate must be authorized to work in USA
-Experienced Java developer, at least 5 years experience

-Strong OO analysis and design skills

-Good understanding of and hand-on experience with J2EE Capital markets domain knowledge & experience

-Java Swing programming experience

-Strong communications and presentation skills

-Experience with concurrency and multi-threaded programming

-Other pluses: XML, JNI, JTA, JSP, JAAS, SQL, JDBC, UML
