Senior Java Engineer

Aligo, Inc. is seeking a senior Java Engineer to work on the cutting edge WorkTrack ASP.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be working with Aligo’s technical team helping architect, design and develop the server-side aspects of the WorkTrack application, using the latest Java technologies.

These highly self-motivated individuals must have the desire and flexibility to work in a fun, challenging, and fast-paced startup environment.

Applicant must have a desire to learn about the mobile space and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging team environment.

Requirements:
-Experience architecting and developing server-side applications using Java technologies, Web and application servers, N-tier architectures, threading, and security is a must.

-4 Year Degree or equivalent, preferably in CS or EE *4+years of experience in the software industry *Excellent Java server-side experience *Broad experience in web architecture and programming languages, including N-tier architecture, application servers, Java, and XML.

-Knowledge of J2ME technologies and interactions with server a plus

Specific Technical Skills:
-Programming Languages/Technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP and Servlets, XML, HTML

-Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows

-Tools: CVS, Ant, JUnit, Bugzilla, Wiki

-Knowledgeable about Web and J2EE Application Servers
