Senior Engineer- Enterprise Software Tools

Software start-up based in San Francisco that just raised $10 million in series b venture funding is seeking a Sr Tools Engineer. To be considered, please have 3+ years of experience in a full-time role in enterprise tools development.

considered.

Requirements:
-Candidates should possess a minimum of three (3) years of client or desktop software engineering experience, preferably with Enterprise software development tools.

-Thorough knowledge of MVC design patterns and experience with GUI toolkit programming in either Java Swing/AWT, Microsoft MFC, or Linux GTK/QT. Experience with Python and WxWindows / WxPython highly desired.

-Strong knowledge of XML and related technologies and standards including XSD and XSLT and SQL and Relational Database systems.

-Knowledge of and experience with Web Services (SOAP, WSDL), XForms, or BPEL highly desirable.

-Demonstrated initiative, superior project management skills, detail-oriented, results-oriented, and the ability to undertake complex initiatives with minimal supervision.

-Possess entrepreneurial spirit and initiative with a desire to contribute to a fastpaced, start-up organization.

-BS or MS in Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities:
-Working closely with our Senior Tools Architect, design and develop the tools platform.

-Working closely with Quality Engineering, help ensure that all work is up to a high standard of quality for mission critical Enterprise deployment.

-Assist with pre and post sales technical presentations and POCs as required.
