Job Summary:
Technical Support Operations seeks a Sr. Business Analyst to providestrategic and tactical support in critical project planning andexecution. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible and highlyorganized, has the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues,and is comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data.
This is a great opportunity for someone to extend their experience andapply their analytic skills in an area that provides direct support tothe client’s customers. Use Business case development skills(identification validation of business requirements) by interfacingwith subject matter experts in business operations, business process,Marketing, IT team members.
The right candidate will need to connect with cross-functional teams todevelop feasibility analysis for standard and non-standard ServiceSupply Chain (SSC) support requests. The role needs strong decisionsupport analysis and subsequent reporting to SSC and TAC teams, TSteams. For success in the role, one needs to be a creative problemsolver who looks for efficiency gains and has proven record indeveloping options and presenting recommendations.
Key Analysis:
- Service Supply Chain (SSC) impact analysis of move to Premium services and network level services
- Analysis and processes needed to reduce service readiness time of 30/60 days from support contract signing
- Multiple Service Level per Contract - SSC impact assessment
- Work with Discovery tool team to validate Parts that need to be registered on a Contract for Sparing
Responsibilities:
- Statistical and business analysis / decision support
- Business modeling and metric reporting
- Develop, gain consensus and document the processes (current as well as continual improvement)
- Development of recommendations with impact statements
- System spec design for production, reporting requirements, IT collaboration as needed
- Interface with multiple databases and data warehouses to generate reports
- Main POC for Finance to ensure information flows and charges are accurate
- Collaborate with organizations within Technical Support, Finance, Customer Advocacy
- Periodic communication with support teams as well as Senior Staff
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience. BS/MS or equivalent.
- Proven success in business analysis and decision support reporting and implementation.
- Ability to successfully interface and influence with many different functional groups.
- Leadership to drive metrics and reporting across the supply chain disciplines.
- Capability to complete data review for inconsistencies and processflaws along with recommendations for solutions to identified problems.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and substantiate statistical significance view points
- Ability to complete cost/benefit analysis and deployment of approved strategies.
- Familiar with system data pulls
- Proven success in developing and reporting on KPIs
- Self starter along with social and influencing abilities
- Strong written as well as verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in: excel / access database / graphical representation

- Expertise in project management is a clear advantage.
- Knowledge of service supply chain specific systems and tools is a major plus
