Senior Analog / Mixed Signal Design Engineer

We are a fabless semiconductor company developing innovative, chip-based power management technologies that will improve the portability and integration of unplugged electronics. Our technology will enable a new generation of feature-rich, mobile electronic products while reducing part counts and lowering total costs to make systems that are smaller, lighter, more power efficient and affordable.

Position Description:
You will be responsible for designing analog/mixed signal circuits used in power management chips.

Specifically You Will:
-Develop design specifications and circuit topologies

-Perform circuit design

-Prepare block diagrams, schematics, simulation

-Present design reviews

-Perform layout design and oversee all layout related activities

-Work with Test/Product Engineering to develop test specifications and perform measurements

Required Skills:
-Low power linear circuits: OPAMP, filters, other signal conditioning, LDO, voltage/current reference, biasing

-Switched capacitor circuits: filters, comparators, sample/hold

-Low power PLL

-5-8 years of analog design experience

Desired Skills:
-A/D converters (SAR, multiple slope, sigma-delta)

-Power MOSFET design and gate driver

-Power management sub systems for battery powered, portable devices

-Switching regulator design (power supply)

-Mixed-signal control systems

-Strong device physics and high voltage CMOS IC technology

-Ability to implement mixed signal macro cells from IC specifications in either Cadence and/or Synopsis flows

-Designed linear circuits using a CMOS technology of 0.5um to 0.25um
