Release Engineer

Skills / Experience:
-3+ years experience as a build or release engineer working in UNIX (Solaris/HP/LINUX) and Windows environments.

-5+ years experience in technical capacity.

-Strong UNIX programming skills in shell, Perl, Python, Tcl, etc. - admin skills are a plus.

-Proven experience handling builds and deploys in a timely fashion to a managed service environment.

-Admin-level expertise in at least one source control tool (BitKeeper, Perforce, ClearCase, CVS, etc.).

-Experience with various branching/merging methodologies and release procedures.

-Experience with Ant in a Java environment - writing new build scripts, custom tasks, etc.

-Experience in at least one installation technology, ideally pkgadd, InstallAnywhere, or RPM.

-Experience with Java, BEA WebLogic, HTML/JSP, and Apache.

This position is located South of Market in San Francisco near BART, MUNI & Caltrain.

Depending on your experience, compensation is from $90-110K
