Release Engineer

Location: Redwood City
Position: Full time

Job Requirements:
- Manage multiple concurrent builds, code branches and merges

- Develop and maintain tools for release engineering

- Promote builds to geographically dispersed teams

- Deploy to and manage the configurations of development and test environments

- Manage one or more Build Engineers

- Interface with automated test group and Development

- Work with Infrastructure team in Israel to unify build and release processes

Required skills and experience:
- BS or equivalent in Computer Science or other technical field

- 4+ years in software release engineering

- CVS experience required

- Perl, HTML and Windows batch scripting

- Windows/Linux/Unix Admin experience

- Java and Ant, rsync, make and makefiles, DOS for NT, gcc, msdev

- Experience building large web apps

- Experience managing geographically dispersed environments

- Experience managing a small team

- Willing to travel as needed to Minsk and Israel

Preferred skills and experience:
- C/C++ and Java preferred

- CQ multi-site experience preferred
