Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary:
The Quality Engineer develops and executes automated and manual test cases for NetApp’s proprietary Operating System.

Responsibilities include:
-Works with QA and Development groups to develop test plans.

-Develops automation wherever possible.

-Executes tests, reviews and reports on results, works with .

-Development groups and to identify and resolve problems.

Qualifications:
-BSCS/CE Required. MSCS/CE preferred.

-4+ Years of industry experience, ideally in both development and QA roles.

-Significant knowledge of test automation.

-Demonstrated skills in QA tools/techniques.

-Programming skills, especially in perl and scripting languages. Demonstrated ability to juggle.

-Conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in the face of extremely challenging deliverables.

-Learns quickly and independently, and can understand technical aspects of our products in sufficient detail so that they can analyze results and debug problems in conjunction with
development.

-Must work well with others.

-Desire to pursue a long-term career path as a Quality Engineer.

Qualifications:
-Experience with multiple Operating Systems (Solaris, HPUX, AIX, and Linux).

-Experience with SAN/Disk Storage, RAID, Clustering.

-Experience with Operating Systems Internals (Solaris, HPUX, AIX, and Linux).
