Position
Mark Logic is looking for a talented candidate with strong QA experience, at the individual contributor level, to fill the position of Quality Assurance Engineer.

Mark Logic will entertain candidates with varying degrees of seniority, fitting the role to the individual.

Qualifications:
Position Requirements
-Quality assurance experience with enterprise platform software.

-Demonstrated, hands-on skills throughout the complete quality assurance cycle.

-Proven ability to create, implement and execute test strategies for software product features.

-Experience with white box and black box testing methodologies.

-Strong Windows, Solaris and Linux shell and scripting skills.

-Knowledge of XML.

Desirable Skills And Experience
Skills and experience in any of the following areas are also beneficial:

-Hands-on experience with XQuery

-Hands-on experience with C# or Java

-Experience designing and building automated test suites for complex APIs.

-Experience with low-level data/storage integrity testing,including QA of journaling, journal recovery, failover and replication

-Experience with testing search engine retrieval and coverage

-Experience with performance measurement and testing, from a QA standpoint
