Job Summary: Software Engineer, develop and design software applications

Solidware Technologies, a start-up software test products company, is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and design automated software test applications. This is a high growth position reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Essential Function:
Develop and design software applications based on engineering product definitions and specifications.

Key Technical Skills:
- Very strong knowledge of the Java language, with 5+ years of
Java programming experience
- Strong skills on OO development and API design
- Experience with Ant, JavaScript, CVS
- Experience with unit testing tools JUnit, HttpUnit, Cactus
- Working knowledge of Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ IDEA

Desirable Technical Skills:
- Practical experience with JSP, Tomcat,
- Experience developing Eclipse plugins or familiarity with
developing products for the Eclipse Platform
- Solid experience in C/C++ programming
- Experience in Agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, etc.)
- Experience working with open source, frameworks and libraries
- Experience with development frameworks such as Struts,
Hibernate, Spring
- Experience with open source databases (MYSQL, HSQL,
postgreSQL)
- Experience with Flash and ActionScript development
- Design and/or engineering of compliers and use of lexical
analyzers
