Position Responsibilities - Summary:

The Exchange Engineer’s role is to ensure the stable operation of in-house
Exchange 2003 e-mail messaging systems and their corresponding hardware and
software. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring,
maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all messaging system components,
including OWA, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Windows mobile devices & email
spam filtering. Will also analyze and resolve end-user messaging program and
connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user
training where required.

Position Responsibilities - Detailed:

- Responsibility for overseeing day-to-day e-mail administration
functions including Windows 2003 administration, Exchange 2003
administration, data-center hardware, clustering, SAN infrastructure, and
LAN/WAN connectivity.

- Responsible for Architecting, design, configuration and
implementation of all improvements of future messaging products. Includes
the Exchange & Outlook environment integration with applications and
workflow with SharePoint services.

- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)

- Perform system monitoring using native and or third-party tools,
and to facilitate measures to minimize issues proactively. Including
running & reporting of Microsoft best practices toolset and management of
mailbox sizes.

- Provide technical expertise and assistance to other IT groups and
the business as Network Service requirements arise.

- Assist the Global security team in identify security risks, data
privacy practices, spam filtering and email encryption practices.

- Highly self motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills and the
ability to effective prioritize and execute tasks.

- Must be flexible in work hour arrangements, and prepared to work
after hours or weekends if required. 24X7 cell availability.

Required Skills and Competencies:

- Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of equivalent work
experience in the field.

- MCSE with Exchange certification.

- Working technical knowledge of current messaging systems
software, protocols, and standards, including SMTP, POP3, HTTPS and mobile
services.
