MRTU SQL Programmer

Duration: 5 months

Location: Folsom, CA

Pay Rate: $75.0/hr - $75.0/hr

Job Description:
-Ideal application tester should have a minimum of ten years experience in database programming.

-Basic understanding of the electric energy markets is preferred, but not necessary.

-Will interface with application energy market application subject matter experts and implement requested test data setups and validations for defined test cases.

-Proven track record working on large software development, systems implementation, and systems integration projects.

Scope of Work:
-Support IFM Test Scenario Planning

-Support IFM Test Data Planning

-Provide IFM Test Execution Support

-Development of scripts to automate test setups and procedures.

-Documentation of test procedures.

-Support Integration Test Scenario Planning

-Support Integration Test Data Planning

-Provide Integration Test Execution Support

-Support End-to-End Test Scenario Planning

-Support End-to-End Test Data Planning

-Provide End-to-End Test Execution Support

There will be some initial travel to Minneapolis and the remainder of the work will be done in Folsom.

Required Skills:
-Experience with database modeling

-Expertise with Oracle SQL scripting

-Expertise with writing complex Oracle stored procedures

-Expertise in QA Methodologies

-Excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

-Experience with MS Office Suite of products

-Excellent communication and analytical skills

-Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Experience:
-Experience delivering enterprise solution implementations

-Experience in the Energy Industry

-Understanding of web services and service oriented architecture (SOA)

-Knowledge of California ISO market systems

-Knowledge of Market Data Processes
