Java Developer

SKILLS:
- Minimum 6 years experience in Java.
- Acted in role of lead developer in at least one large
project.
- Self starter - can work under tight deadlines and with minimal
supervision.
- Strong JDBC skills using Oracle database.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Working knowledge of UML (at least an ability to understandUML diagrams, code based on them, and to discuss them intelligently). Familiarity with at least one UML modeling tool.
- 5+ years of experience working on applications based on any type of mult-tiered architecture in Java (J2EE, RMI, EJB, general client-server programming).
- Some Java Swing experience.
- Proven technical documentation skills.
- Experience with extreme programming (XP) development practices.
- SOAP and Web Services.
- SOA.

PLUS / OPTIONAL SKILLS

- Experience with data integration frameworks such as Hibernate,
BEA Liquid Data, Toplink, or JDO.
- XML Query.
- Expertise with EJBs.
