The Intuit Developer Network (IDN) enables third party developers to create specialized solutions that work with QuickBooks, the leading accounting software for small businesses in the US. In so doing, Intuit is further able to deliver the “Right for My Business” solutions that these small businesses require.
The Senior Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Manager, IDN Marketing and plays a critical and multi-faceted role on the Intuit Developer Network team and is responsible for identifying, developing, managing & executing marketing programs to drive awareness and sales of both the developers’ and Intuit’s products.
Other key responsibilities:
- Manage the development and drive the implementation of strategic marketing programs to drive customer awareness & sales ofdevelopers’ & Intuit’s products.
- Drives strategic DM marketing initiatives: creative and offer, list
segments, response modeling, etc.
- Leads campaign results analysis and market research, responsible
for conclusions, findings and recommendations to existing/ future
programs.
- Lead and/or co-lead marketing oriented research projects focused on messaging, target market definition and marketing effectiveness.
- Drive cross-functional teams (internal brand teams, e-commerce,
call center, operations, production/procurement, PR, finance, etc.)
to leverage infrastructure and processes for successful end-to-end
program implementation.
- Manage internal partners and external relationships (agencies,
freelancers, developers, list brokers, media, fulfillment vendors,
etc.) in the development and implementation of marketing efforts.
- Identify business opportunities, and initiate marketing programs
that provide a better end user experience.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Marketing Manager with 7-9 years business experience, MBA preferred.
-Must have exp. with Direct Marketing and Demand Generation campaigns.
- Familiarity with software or technology marketing a plus
- Experience in marketing/brand management that includes:
- Creation and execution of marketing plans that include a variety of
types of promotions, campaigns or marketing activities (Direct, SEM, Print, Web, Events, etc.)
- Experience managing external vendors/ agencies.
- Management of expense budgets.
- Experience in developing & managing DM campaigns (email and direct mail), including major drivers (lists, offers, creative, test
matrices, revenue, costs, etc.)
- Excellent marketing material development skills with a particular
emphasis on strategic creative direction and copy evaluation
capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/ program elements
simultaneously.
- Strong managerial, leadership and strategic-thinking skills.
- Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
