Position summary: The ideal candidate will be a high energy, hands on, and organized individual with solid understanding of channel partner requirements and the ability to translate them into successful product launches, campaigns, and on-going promotions and programs for regional, national and international reseller, distributor and value-added partners.
Essential Functions:
- Internally focused responsible for driving the channel partner requirements during the product launch and campaign process and working with all internal functions as part of a cross functional team.
- Delivers high-impact indirect channel sales & marketing programs aligned with product / services / solutions marketing objectives and business requirements.
- Develop promotion objective, create rollout plan and template, working collaboratively w/Integrated Marketing for effective launch and replication across geographies.
- Acts as go to manager for key channel readiness activities and worldwide programs .
- Manage and filter requests and requirements of the corporate business units, product management, integrated marketing, finance, customer services, and engineering for access to and through the channel for promotions, specials, programs and other activities.
- Ensures that channel marketing messages are driven consistently through all sales/marketing programs.
- Owns delivery and evolution of partner programs ensuring alignment with the channel marketing plan and promotional strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in high technology products.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with channel partners, with successful track record in a channel marketing, channel sales/development, and/or product marketing/product management capacity.
- Must demonstrate excellent marketing skills for creative program development and a clear track record of execution.
- Must demonstrate strong track record of working closely with extended sales and marketing teams, improving channel partner capabilities and commitment.
- Excellent people leadership and interpersonal skills; understanding of domestic and international markets and channels preferred.
- Bachelors degree
