Appl/UI Developer - .Net (VB or C#) – Java – SQL Server - Boston, MA Area

Position Responsibilities:
This individual will work in the Research Systems Group as part of the Information Technology team. The developer will be responsible for participating in the design, development and maintenance of applications to support the investment research groups within the company.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business users, research analysts and portfolio managers to identify areas where technology could be leveraged to enhance the investment process and achieve superior results.

- Support the applications developed as well as legacy systems.

- Propose and design technical solutions.

- Advisor for UI design for the Research Systems Group

- Implement applications based on the solutions proposed and work closely with users to test and integrate the applications into the current production environment.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- College degree with minimum 2 years experience developing Windows database applications.

- Experience designing complex user interfaces with .NET (VB or C#), C++ or Java.

- Experience developing web applications using ASP, ASP.NET, Java or other technologies.

- Self-starter, able to work as part of a small team as well as independently, with minimal supervision.

- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.

- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple tasks.

- Proven ability to deliver quality applications based on given time estimates.

- Ability to provide creative solutions and desire to keep up with advances in technology.

Compensation:
Up to $100K + Bonus - Comprehensive Benefits Package
