Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (black-box testing)
Contract Length: 5 months
Location: Redwood City, CA

This QA Engineer will execute and maintain test plans based on an
understanding of the company’s software testing methodology and of the
software to be tested. Will execute test cases/scripts, incorporating
black box, and manual testing. Will report and manage defects, and
regress software fixes for new and existing products.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum two years experience in software testing and quality
assurance
* Black box and manual testing experience and expertise a must.
* Experience testing multi-tiered web-based client-server applications
* Strong knowledge of QA practices and policies.
* Excellent trouble-shooting skills
* Ability to learn proprietary applications quickly
* Strong communication skills to interface with the other members
of your team
* Self-motivated, self-starting individual with drive to work
independently as needed.
* A passion for testing and desire to ensure end-to-end quality
in the development cycle
* Must have proven experience of documenting bug reports and

status reports.
* Must have strong Windows background; familiarity with Sun
Solaris a plus
