ASIC Design Engineer (Sr. Staff)
Job Description:
In this position, the individual will be responsible for managing the ASIC IP roadmap for advanced technology. Initially this will be to work with SanDisk ASIC to define requirements for 65nm process node. Will also work with foundries and IP vendors to identify, qualify and
obtain 65nm IP.
This position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; a Masters degree is preferred with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience with ASIC design and/or IP design. Recent experience in 130nm or 90nm technology is required.
Experience with chip back-end design methodology is also required. Must have working knowledge of CMOS transistor device characteristics and modeling. Working knowledge of SRAM or NVM memory design is a plus.
